Importing a tiff with a ProPhoto Profile ?
Hi.
My usual workflow involves using Nikon Capture Nx to import and edit my D300 files. The most interesting I plan to print are converted to ProPhoto RGB profile and exported in the tiff format. To build a printing project I then use Aperture to import and manage the exported tiff's. The problem starts from here. In the metadata shown by Aperture 2, the imbedded profile is identified by "65535". And if I export from Aperture to a psd format, Photoshop will read that this file is in the Adobe RGB profile.
Can Aperture import a file that has a ProPhoto RGB profile, and how can this be properly done ?
