Command-P doesn't work

Command-P no longer prints on my iMac. My whole family uses it, so it's concevable that the kids modified something (although they deny it). I went to System Preferences and reset keyboard shortcuts, to no avail.

Apparently, command-p is actually pressing command-c. In other words, after some experimentation, I found that if I highlight a word, then press command-p, the highlighted word is in the copy buffer. Note that other command combinations, such as command-W to close a window, seem to work fine.

Thanks for the help! 🙂

I am not sure where the keyboard shortcuts preferences are kept, but you might try deleting (or moving) the finder preferences (~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist). I believe you have to relaunch the finder (option-click on the finder in the dock and select relaunch) after taking the plist file out of its folder for the Finder to create fresh preferences.
