iPhone and Wireless Camera

I have a wireless network in my house and was interested in getting a wireless camera to keep an eye on the kids when they are playing. Would I be able to view the video from the wireless camera directly on my iPhone while I am inside the house using the wireless network?

If so, any suggestions for equipment for this type of setup?

I have an Axis 207W that we use as a birdcam. It produces both motion jpeg and mpeg-4 video streams at 640x480 resolution up to 30 fps. Both streams are accessible by the computers on our local network and by others on our website. The iPhone will not display the mpeg-4. It will display the motion jpeg at about 2 fps for 20 seconds before crapping out.
