Updating the firmware on my Pana HVX200

I'm hoping to shoot with a 16gig P2 card and realized I need a firmware upgrade for my camera.
The Panasonic site is very confusing on exactly what I need to download and how to install?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

That's how you do it.

Follow it specifically.

Use at least a 64 MB SD card. Format it in the cam, not on your Mac.

Make certain you are using AC power.

Sounds intimidating; it isn't.

Most people who have problems don't follow these specific instructions:

1. Download the Driver Software file “VVVSI ***.zip” from the P2 support desk.

2. Copy the file “VVVSI ***.zip” to the hard disk of your PC and extract the file
.
3. Insert a formatted SD card into the card slot of PC.

4. Copy the whole folder “PRIVATE” in the extracted folder to the SD card.

NOTE: Do not change the construction of folder and the file name.
