Playlist[ burnt in iMac CD gives music but no track details in my G4 iBook

Burn backup CD in the iMac 800 of a playlist. This includes the name of the tune/song, comments, artist, and Album name etc.
When I play this in my G4 iBook I get the music but no track details, no song details, no comments etc.
Where did go wrong?

iMac 800 G4, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

you burnt the disc as an audio CDR and this is expected. If you used Toast and burnt the disc as an mp3 disc then playing back in itunes you'd get the id tags information.
