OWC Brand Ram or Samsung Brand Ram ?

has anyone got the owc brand ram ,and had any issues vs/ the same for samsung ? I am looking at either one of these 2 memory upgrades... info is appreciated.

1GB (1024MB) PC4200 DDR2 533MHz SAMSUNG ORIGINAL DIMM

2GB PC4200 DDR2 533MHz DIMM (OWC)

Imac 2.1 isight, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

Either one of them should be fine, just make sure you get a lifetime guarantee.
On the whole, I'd go with the OWC.

I went with the 2g stick OWC brand.... it is a good thing since I have pre ordered the apature 2. ,and min req. is at least 1G of ram. thanks MGW for the recomendation.

Ok, I just got the package by fedex. open up the bottom of the Imac, seated the ram . rebooted the mac. vola, mac shows 2.5GB of ram...I don't understand why other folks post of having issues seating the ram... but whatever. mine is good to go.. thanks again

Some people have trouble because seating the RAM properly can need a very hard push, and people are afraid to damage the RAM. My thumbs hurt after I installed mine 🙂
