I've never called the number, so I'm not sure if #3 is the right option or if there is an option to get directly to an AppleCare account manager.

I would be curious to know where this plan came from. At work, we get the auto-enrolled boxes with the CDs after the auto-enrollment. If the plan was not purchased at the exact same time as the computer, you can't auto-enroll it. It sounds fishy to me. But, if they were purchased at the same time, then there shouldn't be anything to worry about. You can check to see if it's already enrolled here.

As of this month, when you purchase a new Mac at the Apple Store and purchase AppleCare at the same time, you no longer need to register it. If you look closely, the AppleCare box no longer is specific to a particular model of Mac computer. The registration process is all done as you purchase both. Of course, you can still purchase AppleCare separately within the 1st year of purchase.

So what does this mean - they are selling part 607-2650 on EBAY (APP FOR MAC - AUTO ENROLL ONLY). Is this of any use? Can I buy this and enroll my MacBook Pro using this AppleCare?
