Safari won't scroll

When I bring up certain pages in Safari, I don't get the option to scroll down to see the rest of the page. It just cuts off at the bottom with no scroll bar on the right side of the page. Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't. Every time I load the same page on Firefox, I have no problem scrolling. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I logged into Apple discussions to register that I'm having the same problem - pretty often these days teh scroll bar is disappearing. I'm using the Web very heavily for work.. so this is beyond annoying. Answer is to close out of Safari and start up again. This takes a long time.. and often Safari crashes. I was hoping the new release that installed this morning would fix this issue. No such luck.

Thanks

Having the very same problem on both my machines, it doesn't seem to matter if it is 10.4 or 10.5
Every now and then I load a page and the scroll bars are gone, refresh does nothing, hitting the back button until I get back to a page that does load the scroll bars then I am ok for a little while until it happens again. Sometimes that doesn't work and I have to quit and restart Safari. When ever I quit I ALWAYS get a crash error for Safari.
Sometimes just quitting safari even when I am not having scroll problems I get the crash on quit error message, I always hit send report to Apple but I have been doing this for over 5 months now and still no fix. I have used FireFox but it is slow.
