Problem with Mac Pro Booting

Yup, it happened to me in the first week. I'm worried of Apple's product quality, its going downhill with all the booting problem and sleeping issues.

As well as their support department. I wasted about 2 weeks of bad information that they're going to send me a box so I can get it serviced. I called up to ask for the tracking information after a long wait and then they told me they don't ship one that big and I need to bring it in to a authorized dealer for repair.

I'm thinking twice from now on each time I buy a product from Apple.

December would have been the older model, not the new one, and not known for having very many problems at all other than FW ports or something.

So not having posted before to ask or knowing what.... if there is a problem, best to have it on day #1. Riser card, damaged in shipment, SATA drive bay not working, faulty video card, even Apple RAM can fail. But not much. Which makes the issues iwth 2008-model all the more strange.

what problems where u having with it booting ? would it not startup ??

My brand new 2.8 died 3 days after I received it. I hadn't applied the 2600 firmware update.

Now waiting for a new machine to arrive so I can spend a day setting it up & convincing Adobe to let me activate my software again.
