Vibrate not working.

The vibrate function on my iPhone just stopped working for both incoming calls (whether the ringer is on or off) and emails, nor does it work when I turn the ringer on and off. I checked the settings and reset the phone, too.

Do I need to send it in for repair?

Thanks!

People need to SEARCH more often!

This is at least the 3rd time someone has started a new thread about this problem this week.

Smacking it on the side does work if yours is not an issue with the silence switch. If you go into "settings" and turn the vibrate mode off and on, it should vibrate. If it does not, then the smack will 'unstick' the vibrate mechanism.
