HTML not displaying in email

A client of mine receives regular emails from a customer with order information. The emails are HTML and do not display in the message area on their Mac Mini 10.4.3 and their iMac G5 10.4.3. I had the same person send a test email to my G4 PB 10.4.3 and I can see the email fine. I am attaching the raw source of the email below(email addresses removed). Any ideas why?

I have just noticed the same HTML problem <Mail.app v2.0.5 (746/746.2)>
running on a PMac G4 (Digital Audio) 10.4.3 - this didn't seem to happen with 10.4.2

(I do apologise for the length of this message - but maybe this is what is killing the MIME handling capacity of Mail in 10.4.3??)

Recently when I receive mail forwarded from my secretary who has been forwarded this from somewhere else, I get perhaps 28 lines displayed of a many line (IMPORTANT) message.
I have to browse the Raw Source and try and parse html by eye, which is fun, but I was rather hoping Mail could do the decoding for me for me.

I notice this (undisplayed error message) appears in the Raw Source - but I haven't seen this displayed - I just realise that some messages seem truncated, seem not to have the claimed attachments etc.

ERROR MESSAGE DISPLAYED ONLY IN RAW SOURCE
"This message is in MIME format. Since your mail reader does not understand
this format, some or all of this message may not be legible."

Hey, I just discovered that when I browse one of these truncated messages in Raw Source, Nothing Changes, i.e. my inbox preview and the opened message just show the first (approx) twenty eight lines, however, if I VIEW LONG HEADERS then the message is 100% displayed, and this effect is (sometimes) STICKY, such that when I re-select Default Headers, now the message is fully visible in the preview pane AND when fully opened. It isn't sticky for ALL messages, as I have to open the truncated messages individually and toggle the long headers ON/OFF in order to see the correct display. WORKAROUND! (I've just noticed that the workaround seems to fade after a few minutes - but it seems to work a bit!)

so we have a situation where Mail.app is not understanding MIME or not processing the correct header unless it is deliberately viewed.

I append here (one of) the entire mail messages that is displayed/handled badly by Mail.app

Nov 10, 2005 8:57 AM in response to Austin Kinsella1

Thanks for your reply. I had the original sender send me a copy of the email and it displays fine on my PB. My PB and the Macs at my clients office all have 10.4.3 updates installed. The only difference is the physical location and that my PB is two years old and their Macs are brand new.

As a test, I cut the HTML out of the raw source, saved it in a text file and opened it in Safari. The HTML displayed correctly.

As another test, I sent a RTF email to my client and it displayed fine. Then I copied the HTML out of the problem email and pasted it into a new email, then sent it to the client. That email displayed fine as well.

I'm baffled.
