processor upgrade

The process is not difficult. You buy a faster processor, remove the one in the computer, and install the new one. The new processor comes with installation instructions. Here is one popular brand:

May I suggest however that a processor upgrade may not be the best solution. You might want to consider the option of buying a used computer that will run Leopard. The cost should be comparable to the price of the upgrade, and you will be able to sell the one you have.

By the way, it would be useful to have more complete specs of the 733 model you have. Is it a QuickSilver?

Until a few weeks ago I was running CS on a 1 GHz G4 (in Leopard). It was fine. I have since upgraded to CS3, and that is fine too.

I feel that my original advice - to consider a newer Mac instead of a processor upgrade - is still valid.

There are some exceptional buys on eBay.

What do I need to do, in order to upgrade the processor speed, So I can install OS X Lepoard on my CPU?
