Trouble with PACER and ECF after 10.4.3 update!
I work in a high volume law office dealing with bankruptcy work. After updating to Mac OS 10.4.3, both Safari and variations of Mozilla/Camino/Firefox are behaving wonky. I am now forced to use Internet Explorer when trying to use the PACER and ECF services of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. (Note: I have not tried Opera, Omniweb or iCab.) Prior to the update, both browsers performed perfectly.
Safari is having problems when trying to upload documents to PACER. It is hit-or-miss from document to document, even if they were all formatted in the same manner. Mozilla, Firefox, and Camino can upload the documents but seem to run into problems when trying to print the contents of a PACER browser window (You get the beachball that never stops); this may be due to something with 10.4.3 and issues printing windows with frames. Just a guess.
If a solution can be found, please post it in this thread. Otherwise, at least this post may act as a heads-up to sys admins in law offices to use a test machine before updating all Macs with the latest update.
Thanks in advance.
