OS and SDK for iPhone same as iPod touch?

Just curious. It looks like the bundled applications are the same. Just wondering if they share the same OS and SDK.

MacBook Pro with lots of extra stuff, Mac OS X (10.5.2), iPhone in pocket, iPod in car, Nikon and Adobe everything

For the most part, yes.
Obviously, the Touch does not use a cell network, and it has no camera or BlueTooth, so some things are going to differ.
But I believe that the kit is the same.
