HP ScanJet 2100c

Question

HP ScanJet 2100c

Anyone can help me?

I have an HP scanjet 2100c scanner, in the system profiler under USB i can view the scanner but I can't use in anyway, if I try to acquire from Word (for example) the error message tell me that no scanner has be installed. I can't found any driver, how can I resolve the problem ?

I have the same problem witha scanjet 2300c. HP have said that it just won't work. Is would have thought that scanners would have the same basic functionality. i don't need to use any of the other features of it, just to aquire images.

I am having the same problem with a HP scanjet 3970. It worked fine with my imac running 10.1, but doesn't work with my new mac running 10.4. Is this a HP problem or a mac OSX problem. Either way it is frustrating. The scanner is not that old. And I can't see buying a new one every time I upgrade my operating system.

Help! Has anyone figured out how to make HP's scanjet 3970 work with Tiger 10.4.3? Id using HP Image Mate, the software crashes when trying to change preferences. It worked perfectly prior to upgraqding to Tiger. Thanks

You could try the site that greg suggested. So far I have not been able to use the files. They have all be corrupted.

Try the HP website, they have an online support similar to the one apple provides.
