backlight won't turn off!!!
My backlight on my iphone stays on all the time. I have tried everything to get it to go off. Does anyone know how to turn it off, because its running down my battery much faster.

What do you have the settings on for Auto-lock? Go to Settings, general, auto-lock. Whatever time setting is there, is when the screen should go dark. Set it for a lower time, if necessary.
If that doesn't help, then you may have to power off/on the phone. If that doesn't help, then try a reset. To accomplish this, press and hold the home button and the sleep/wake button until you see the Apple logo, then release. This does a reboot of the phone software.
