can I open my mighty mouse on my iMac any way?

Not to "hijack" this thread, but I would like to find out why it is that, when the scroll ball needs cleaning, it's because it scrolls up, but not down. Why is it never that it does scroll DOWN, but not UP? Is there something about the way the mouse is constructed that it is never the opposite way?

I took 5 mighty mice into apple when cleaning following the apple guide didnt work and this just replaced them all for me so if you live near an apple store it might be worth trying this before opening them up.

The Mighty Mouse is sealed, opening it will Void your warranty!

Second if a good cleaning doesn't get it going and your system is still under warranty (1 year Apple or 3 years w/Apple Care) send or take it in for a replacement.
