Transfer movie rentals to ipod

I downloaded a few movie rentals from itunes and the Apple website and all other information I found says to go to the ipod movies tab when the ipod is connected and then just click on the rental movie to transfer it. When I go to my ipod movies tab, the rentals aren't there. What can I do to transfer my movies to my ipod?

What kind of iPod do you have? I only ask because rental movies will only play on the iPod Classic (not the 5th Generation iPod), the iPod Touch, the iPod Nano with video and the iPhone. In addition for all of these you also need the latest firmware updates installed to enable them for rental playback.

5G iPods can't play rented moves?? That's ridiculous! I can't believe that iTunes and the iTunes store don't say anything about it. That's pretty frustrating.
