There is an option to import a text file. Just back up the address book before you import them since this could create a problem since it's dependent on file headers. i've never tried this before so I'm going out on a whim but the help files in the address book says that it supports importing of csv and tab deliminated files. I would not use the text file if it's been saved from numbers. Use the exact file that was sent to you by the company you purchased the contacts from.
