Dashboard CPU utilization - World Clock

Dashboard was using CONSTANTLY up to 10-15% of CPU which in a MacBook Pro is a lot of CPU load for widgets. When I disabled World Clock the cpu utilization went to an occasional 0,2%, sometimets higher when a widget was doing something but most of the time a low cpu load which is inline with this kind of application.

World Clock developers, I think world clock needs a review to avoid using so much CPU. Each clock widgets spends about 5-6% and since I work across multiple zones dashboard was using a lot of cpu.

I had similar problems. some dashboard-widgets would use up to 90% or more CPU-load.

I trashed
com.apple.dashboard.plist
in the preferences foldet. didn't help.

then I moved/deleted some preferences files of Safari:
com.apple.Safari.plist
com.apple.Safari.RSS.plist
and logged out/in

After that, everything worked fine.
