Photo Booth Recording

i just bought a macbook so bare with me. When you use photo booth, isn't the video recording suppose to last longer then 30 seconds? i was dancing around acting silly, and i used photo booth video, i checked back and it cut off after 30 seconds. Also how do you stop the screen from going dark, or automatically going to sleep when you dont use it for more than 2 minutes? Its very annoying when i am watching or movie or reading stuff.

Yes photo booth should record for more than 30 seconds. To change your settings so it does not go to sleep open System Preferences and look under Energy Saver. That is what controls the sleep of display and MacBook. You will also want to look under Options in Energy Saver and uncheck the Automatically reduce brightness setting.

Photo Both is for a quick photo, and not much for video.

If you would like to capture video, open iMovie and click the icon that looks like a video camera or hit command + I. You can then capture hours of video!

"Also how do you stop the screen from going dark"...

Go to the Applications folder and open "System Preferences" ---> click on "Energy Saver" ---> click on the "Options" tab ---> and deselect "Automatically reduce the brightness before sleep".
