imklaunchagent?

I was just wondering if anyone knows what this process is. I just found it in my Activity Monitor and processes called "launch agent" that I don't know about and can't find referenced on Google make me nervous. I quit it through Activity Monitor and nothing appears to have changed, but it had system files open in it and it kind of made me nervous.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

Do you happen to write in, say, Chinese or Japanese? I think the process you are mentioning is part of Apple's Input Method Kit framework ( http://developer.apple.com/releasenotes/Cocoa/RN-InputMethodKit/index.html), which is used to support languages that use complex scripts.

The program itself is located in:
/System/Library/Frameworks/InputMethodKit.framework/Versions/A/Resources/imklaun chagent
