Printing problems with chinese characters

Hi,

I'm having problems with printing PDF documents, which have been written in chinese (in this case traditional chinese). When I open the received PDF document with Preview I can see all the characters as they should be. But when I print the same document from Preview on my Kyocera FS-1020D, instead of chinese characters only some weird stuff instead of chinese appears on the printed document. I've got the same problems also on another printers (HP Laser-Jet and HP Desk-Jet).

What could be the problem, does anybody know what's wrong?

You might want to see whether printing from Acrobat Reader makes any difference.

If you don't get an answer here, I recommend asking on the Chinese-Mac mailing list, where someone may have run into similar problems.

an excellent tip! That's it. Everything is fine when I just print out the document out of Acrobat Reader.
