Trigger different midi channels within a track

Hello,
I currently own Miroslav Philharmonik sound library and within this app there are multiple articulations of an instrument available on different midi channels. I would like to trigger different midi channels within a track so say, I have 4 different string instrument articulations such as legato, pizzicato, staccato, portato for instance and I want to trigger various ones within a single track-- as this is how a single instrument can behave. Can this be done within Logic Express 8?
