Text message via bluetooth from Nokia

Down here we have not yet been allowed access to the new iPhone so I have been using my address book to text between my staff using the sms facility in address book the trouble is since I updated my software and phone I am not seeing the replies on screen.
In the past I could send a text from the laptop and then see the reply on screen.
I cant find a preference that covers this anybody had this problem ?
