Can't find eZDrummer plug-in in the Library???

Howdy folks,
I just installed LE8 and have gone to use my eZ Drummer plugin but cant find it in the library.
I previously installed EZD and have been using it in Garage Band fine, and the Toontrack website says EZD is compatible with LE8.
It's listed in the Audio units manager and is successfully validated. So I'm not sure what I'm missing?

Any help would be great.
Cheers. - John

John:

1) Make sure you have the latest version (1.1.3) available from your account at Toontrack.com. Install it if necessary - you probably have an earlier version on the disk you bought.
2) From within Logic, go to Logic Pro -> Preferences -> Audio Units Manager. Find the EZDrummer instrument in the list, select it, and click the "Reset & Rescan Selection " button.

Now if you follow Tyler's advice above, you should be all set.

Create a software instrument track, click on your inserts box to activate the drop down menu, choose>Toontrack>EZdrummer>stereo(multi). I'm not at my Mac right this sec, but it is close to those steps, it is not in your library for sure though.

It may be under your I/O drop down-As I stated, I'm on a PC right now 😟

John,

Provided that EZ Drummer is installed correctly, you need to select ezdrummer as an input just like you would select an audio input channel as your input on an audio track. First create a new Software Instrument Track. Then select the track and look at the track information on the left pane. Click the "input" gelly button and go to the bottom (or close to the bottom) of the contect menu that pops up. I think it is titled Audio Units, or AU or something and within that menu you will find Toontrack -> EZdrummer -> stereo(multi).

Let me know if this helps.

**After taking a look at Logic I revised my post with the exact context menu labels**

Thanks John, I forgot to mention that to the OP. A lot of people forget to check their plugin versions and compatibility.
