Logitech Orbit AF wont pan or tilt

I have started video chats with my mother. she has the Logitech Orbit AF the camera will not pan or tilt like it supposed to do. Also When she shares her screen with me i can find no place to make settings changes. The picture i receive from here is not very clear not sure if that can be improved or not. She is using a new mac notebook not exactly sure which one. She bought it from Best Buy and Geek squad did all the setup she lives in florida and i live in texas so i am limited help.

any suggestions how to pan and tilt and to improve picture quality?

thanks

Hello Bonescrub

My first suggestion is that your mother ask the "Best Buy and Geek squad" to finish her setup job so her webcam works properly. They should be able to tell her whether pan and tilt features are supported on Mac and how to maximize her camera's image quality.

If you do not get the help you need here, the other alternative I suggest for help with this Logitech-specific issue is to search the Logitech.com Support pages for "Logitech Orbit AF" (without the quotation marks.) My search returned this page that includes Troubleshooting info, knowledgebase documents, relevant posts from Logitech's own Forums dedicated to their products, and a link that allows you to Email Logitech Support for their help.
