software monitoring
New to LE8. Using Presonus Firepod Audio Interface.
Have been monitoring recording through headphones connected to Firepod. But getting a flangy robotic sound (due to monitoring the signal twice,) so turned off software monitoring in Preferences/Audio.
However, then I didn't hear plugins while monitoring. So, I turned software monitoring back on, and connected the headphones directly to macbook, hoping to solve the issue... Now I don't hear anything.
Can anyone explain how to hear the plugins while tracking without monitoring the signal twice?
