There are lots of options for casing iPhones, first are they really necessary in terms of protection? If so, which is better? Plastic or rubber ones? Does the InCase plastic slider case scratch your phone when you slight it on since it seems like a real tight fit. I hear that the rubber one made by InCase losses elasticity over just a few months. Any different options?
I have been threw a lot of cases for my iphone. Right now I have the incase slider, yes it does scratch the chrome some what. I also have the otterbox case and that I feel is the best case if you are looking for protection. You can check it out at www.otterbox.com I like the incase slider because it fits in my pocket really well and it feels like there isn't a case on it.
i've had my iPhone since june and had 1 case which i used for 2 days...i personally think it's stupid to cover up such a beautiful piece of machinery. So in the past 10 months i've dropped my phone a bunch of times and there's 1 tiny bump on the top, it's no biggie. also there are a few scratches no big ones. the only thing i have bought to protect it is the clear film cover. Not 1 scratch on the screen! so unless your wicked anal about tiny scratches or a little bump dont get a case for it, just a screen protector...the cases are completely unnecessary
What's the best way to slip iPhone out of the tight fitting InCase plastic slider case with minimal scratches? I bought one, tried it on, but the bottom part doesn't even slide off that easily for docking purposes like demonstrated on the box.
I think I have one of every style case -- spent way too much looking for that right one -- and in my opinion, none compares to the Otterbox Defender. It is so totally protected that nothing can get to the phone. I have dropped it several times and it still looks brand new. And there is nothing that can compare to Otterbox customer service. Those people are absolutely the greatest!
I totally agree with you pwolz...the protection is just unbeatable. I actually got mine from another store (Semsons & Co. Inc.) because they had it for $10 cheaper AND it was free shipping (check out their blog for coupon codes: http://semsons.blogspot.com - scroll down a little). Nothing beats free shipping...I ended up saving a lot of money! (I'm a starving college student looking for change on the street)
