xmpp/jabber client on iphone?

any1 knows if there are proper xmpp/jabber clients including web apps on iphone now? thanks!

In its current state there is no native IM clients at all for the iPhone and you cannot download any either.

I use jivetalk from beejive for MSN and Jabber

I'd also like to know for beejive/meebo, can they be running on the background while i want to do sth. else like using itues?

There seems not to be a good strategy of switching applications? am i right?

Well meebo appears to upon a quick test i just ran. I don't know how long you can be away from it but I left it in the background for two mins and recieved the IMs I sent from another account. Your results may vary...;D
