According to Digidesign's web site, no, it won't. They say that the last version of Pro Tools LE that can be used with Digi 001 is Pro Tools LE 6.4 for Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) which won't run on any newer version of Mac OS X nor on Intel-based Macs.

I looked up the specs on the Digi 001, and unless you can get a PCIe card for it, it's not going to work in a Mac Pro since the PCI card that came with the Digi 001 isn't compatible.
I'm working with this card from Panther and Tiger untill the actual 10.4.11 with no problems. My computer is an old AGP 400 upgraded to 1.5 Ghz. I did a test with Leopard and the DIGI 001 a few months ago and still worked but slower. Digidesign only looks for Pro Tools compatibility and I want to know if the card works with Logic Pro and new Mac Pro.
Thx.
