iTunes CD Burning error 4305?

I have been having problems burning CDs for the last 2 days now..I have tried different media and also tried using iTunes as well as Nero to burn a CD unsuccessfully.

I keep receiving "Attempt to burn cd failed. Unknown error 4305"

I have never had this problem before. I am using a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-109 drive and the firmware is up to date. I can burn DVDs without a problem. Just not CDs.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

If you're also having this issue in Nero, I don't really think this issue is related to iTunes. Maybe try lowering the burning speed? Here's how:

Just an update - I tried burning an MP3 cd with no problem using iTunes. I still cannot burn an audio CD.

I have this identical problem with the exception of the unkown error number. It states 2131 error number when trying to burn disc from my playlist. Anyone have any suggestions??

another update -

I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. Didn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled my burner. Didn't work.

I am out of ideas. Any help???

Success! Finally was able to get a CD burned. Switched to a third different type of media, slowed the burn speed down to 4x, and it worked. Never had any problems before now.
