I have a .mov file that is 120 seconds long at 25 fps. I would like to make it 40 seconds long and it is okay if I slow down the frame rate to do so. I can slow down the playbackspeed to 1/2 speed using the A/V settings however, this does not permanantly change the speed. I need to be able to save it as a new file type at the slower speed. Is this possible using QT Pro or iMovie or anything else. My next step will probably be using VLC.

Thanks for any help
