Binocular icon on top of screen

Can someone tell me how a pair of binoculars has suddenly appeared at the top of my screen next to the airport sign?

I think it is the remote desktop icon but I have not installed apple remote desktop

Could I have initiated this accidentally? Or has someone installed it?

Any advice on how i remove it?
