Contacts problem

I have a small problem, in my phone contacts there is just a huge list there is no thing on the top that displays the letter then shows you all the people who's name starts with that letter and also there is no small alphabet on the side which lets you to jump to a particular letter.

Can this be fixed in settings or what?

Please help!
