Cannot access iTunes, unknown error occured (-2096)

I can't access the iTunes Store i get the following message after signing in and a long wait follows. This message is the end result:

We could not complete your iTunes Store request.
An unknown error occured (-2096)

Umm....I could probably figure out how to get this music free faster. What's with iTunes....anyone????
