Enable SSO with mount_smbfs/Connect to server etc ?

I am trying to integrate Mac OS 10.5.2 clients to an Win 2008 Active Directory.
The binding goes perfect and I do get my Kerberos ticket.
Still I cannot connect to the shares on the server via mount_smbfs or in the Finder using Connect to server. I get authentication error in the finder.

If I add the username to the mount_smbfs command I get a password question and then I can login.

When I exclude the username I get a "Broken pipe" error.

On the 2008 server it can see that I tried to login but I am not suppling any domain name.
And therefore I get kicked out.

I have tried to add the domain name both in the mount_smbfs command and adding a nsmb.conf file in /etc/.

I want to use the mount_smbfs command in an loginhook script and therefore I am in need of SSO to work. Since I want to mont the shares with the login username.

Hope anything made any sense. 🙂
