cleaning aluminum keyboard?

Ok, I know, I'm a klutz... but I somehow managed to dump about 1/4 can of diet soda on my iMac's wired Aluminum Keyboard. I immediately turned it upside down and unplugged it, shook out what I could, than wiped it down with a damp cloth. I am using a spare keyboard while I let the aluminum one dry out.

Any suggestions on cleaning? Is there any way to pop off the keys or open it up that will allow me to put it back together? Or wil I just have to hope for the best after it dries out?
