Mac to TV sender AND receiver query

It occurs to me that with a wireless Mac to TV sender, I can watch AV content from my Mac on my widescreen TV in the living room, on a nice squashy sofa, instead of next door in the study, at a desk.

So far, so great.

What I’d really like to do is sit on my squashy sofa, with a wireless keyboard and mouse and ‘drive’ the Mac via the TV. Open and read / respond to emails, surf the web, write documents etc. Then working at home could be an absolute joy and certainly more comfortable!

Do you know of such a piece of kit I can buy, that allows me to not only receive content on the TV, but drive the Mac via the TV?
