The mighty safari: Scrolling => bad text

After 10 days of happy usage of my new Penryn MBP 2.4, today the problems started.
This morning: the dark stripes (there is a quite crowded topic on this site), tonight: safari.

When I scroll the window the displayed text gets corrupted. Basically, some lines are duplicated, some characters are unreadable...

Best if you watch yourself:

Same issue. It only seems to happen in Safari and Mail. Other applications scroll with the trackpad with no issue. Safari and Mail scroll with the arrow keys with no problem. I'm wondering if this is related to a recent update? It wasn't there when I got the computer and the graphics card is otherwise stable in Logic Pro and Aperture. I haven't tried scrolling with a mouse and scroll wheel (has anyone?).

Safari 3.1.2 same issue here but it wasn't like this until recently. I've done everything from removing the pref plist to adjusting minimum text size to individually unloading and reinstalling the plugins and the issue remains regardless. I notice it in Finder but Finder quickly refreshes and clears it up so you have to be looking at the line the mouse cursor is on and it will occur shortly afterward. On Safari it occurs more scrolling in and out of view. Bringing up any function like search or safari preferences will fix it briefly until you scroll again. I find using the command+F to bring up the search clears it quickly without having to refresh web page and doesn't require closing a window therefore the easiest quick fix. It isn't perfect though... it may not clear all text within all fields. This is not acceptable. I do not have the issue with Firefox so for now until it's fixed I'll use that. I prefer Safari but not like this.
