Max Length of Photo Booth Video

What is the maximum length of a Photo Booth video that i can take? Until it fills up my HD, or is there a time limit. I used to record the parties that I had with the old iMovie, but now it must render the video after it is done recording (to create thumbnails, and that takes forever on a 3-6hr movie).

I don't think that PhotoBooth does this, so I was wondering how long can I take movies on it for?

Thanks!

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.2), 2GB Ram, 80gb HD

Hello bakerster

Search of iSight discussions shows this thread that says no known Photo Booth time limit:

We may also be able to help you get iMovie working again if that would be your preference.

Have you changed iMovie versions? What did you have and what do you use now?
(Post back version info from iMovie > About iMovie.)

iMovie 6 HD does not require rendering thumbnails. If you have iMovie 7.x.x, you may also have iMovie 6 HD in your Finder > Go > Applications > iMovie (previous version) folder. If not, you can download the iMovie 6 HD (v 6.0.4) that works with your iLife '08 from this link.

By the way, iMovie 6.0.4 does NOT work unless iLife '08 is installed.

If your MacBook came with iLife/iMovie '06 and you use its iMovie HD 6.x,
the latest update you want is iMovie HD 6.0.3.
