French tel format +33 (0) 1 23 45 67 89 dosen't work with iPhone

I've tried to find in the previous post without success. I apologized if the question has already been asked.
I would like to synchronize my iPhone with my profesionnal Outlook and in my company all the telphone numbers are formated with +33 (0) 1 23 45 67 89.
The issue is that the iPhone do not understand the () and removed them. So while trying to call from iPhone it dial +33 01 23 45 67 89 which doesn't work. It has to be +33 1 23 45 67 89 or +33 (0) 1 23 45 67 89. All other phones I had in the past manage the ()without problem such as my Blackberry.
Do you have any idea that will not need to reformat in outlook?
