right click my computer, click on manage
click device manager, click on + to open cd/dvd rom drives
right click the drive and click properties
on the general tab, on the bottom of window set device usage to enable
Had to buy an 80 dollar sata drive instead of the ata optical drive.
But on that note, I didn't have the audio cable in the back of the ata drive mostly because my new mother board (790i ultra nvidia) didn't seem to have one.
Sata doesnt need audio cables - and it works - woot.
