Hidden startup items- where?

I installed backup software that came with the SimpleDrive I purchased (ArcSoft Total Media and SimpleButton Polling)and I want to remove them. They start at bootup, but don't appear in the StartupItems folder. I see them when I load the Activity Monitor and look at all processies. Where are these processes located and how can I get rid of them? Thanks for any help.
