favorites on screen after unlock after a phone call

ever since the last update, every time someone calls when my phone is locked and i unlock my phone, the favorites page is on the screen. it really annoys me because rarely am i unlocking my phone to make another call. is there any way to get rid of that?

powerbook g4, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

How are you unlocking the phone? Remember that a double click of the home button goes to the favorites even when the phone is locked.

Correct. When a call comes in, it opens the Phone application. So after the call, while in the Phone application, click on the keypad or other part of the Phone application.
The next time you open the Phone application you will go to that part of it.

Any application on the iPhone opens to the last page you were on. So in Phone you will need to select a different screen then close out of it.

i dont think there is any way around that. as abellan said, it will open to the last app that was on your screen. therefore, if you receive a call when locked, that is technically the last app you use, therefore the screen you will see when unlocked.

i know, not the answer you were looking for, but not much you can do about it except to suggest a change and submit it to apple, here:

maybe we are misunderstanding each other. before the update, when i unlocked my phone after a call to me, it would go to the homepage. but now it goes to the favorites page. i would like it to go back to my homepage. i would not like the phone application to be open at all, i would like the homepage to be there when i unlock my phone.

i am just unlocking my phone by clicking on it and then sliding the button over. i know i am not double clicking because this happens every time i unlock it after someone has called. i know i am not the only person who this happens to because i've asked all my friends. here is the sequence of my actions... i clear my phone out to the homepage. phone is locked. someone calls. i hang up the call. phone locks automatically. wait 5-10 minutes. unlock my phone. favorites screen.

the problem is that i never went to the favorites screen. i don't want the favorites screen open, i want the homepage to be on the screen.

no, everytime i lock my phone, i clear it out to the home page. everytime someone calls ME is when the favorites screen shows up after i unlock it.
