Keyboard Shortcut no longer working for ShutDown

Since the G4 keyboard doesn't have a power button built into the keyboard, I have been using the Keyboard short cut (control, apple, eject) for shutting down my computer. However, recently that short cut no longer works on both my G4 and the G3. Does anybody know why this would suddenly stop working? As far as I can tell, I haven't done anything different to either computer. Both computers are running 10.4.2 and using the same keyboard through a KVM Switch. Just like they have been dong for a long time. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to get this short cut working again!!

Thanks!!!

I have lots of experience running KVM switches on WIntel PCs and found that shutting everything down and powering off/on (or re setting) the KVM switch resolved these types of issues. I suppose there's some logic in the switch that gets hosed and causes a need to reset. Not sure if it will work in your case, but it's worth a try.

Good luck!
