Piece of Lead fell inside of my MacBook

some dummies sitting behind me in class were playing with a lead pencil, and a piece of lead flew up and landed in between keys on my macbook. i tried to catch it and stop it to retrieve it, but it slid in between a key and i saw it roll down into the computer, it was a pretty good chunk of pencil lead...so what happens now that i cantget it out? will i have to replace my computer? will it mess anything up?

let me know <Edited by Moderator>

It might be harmless, but I wouldn't count in it. I'd suggest that you shut down the system and not use it until you can take it to an Apple Store or an authorized Apple service center and pay them to get the piece out for you. Graphite being a conductor of electricity, it could possibly cause a short and hence hardware damage if it were to get into the wrong place in your computer.
