10.4.3, sleep, and docking station
For years I've used my PowerBook in my office with a BookEndz docking station and external monitor and macally ikey keyboard. At the end of the day I put the PowerBook to sleep, eject it from the BookEndz, take it home, possibly wake it up at home, use it and put it back to sleep, then take it back to the office the next day, where I again plug it into the BookEndz.
Now that I've updated to 10.4.3, when I put it back into the BookEndz while sleeping, it fails to recognize the external keyboard. To get it to do so, I need to unplug and replug the USB cable from the BookEndz after tha PowerBook wakes up.
This is a nuisance! Why doesn't it automatically recognize the external keyboard, as it did in previous versions of OS X? Is there a way to recover that functionality under 10.4.3?
