Keyboard shortcut to switch wireless connection from ad-hoc
Someone a while back showed me a simple key-stroke that changes the wireless connection from it's default ad-hoc/peer-to-peer to the correct networked connection type and I can't remember what that shortcut was. Does anyone know the answer to this?
One can create and save separate unique multiple configurations in Sys Prefs Network for different wired/wireless parameter sets, depending on location, and then they can be accessed by mouse from under the Locations. I do that with my work-provided Powerbook laptop. Is that what you were thinking?
Nope - I know it was very specifically a command/something/something-else...macbook pro osx tiger...oh well...I'm guessing this is proving to be more obscure than it's worth digging for. The person who showed me the "trick" isn't at my company anymore. sigh.
