MY SPEAKERS WONT WORK

Ever since I got my iPhone, the right speaker never worked. I do not play music on speaker excessively, or anything for that matter. But late today, my RIGHT SPEAKER QUIT AS WELL! It is not like the speakers were blown or anything...they just quit. can I get a refund or something?

iPhone 1.1.4, Windows XP, Speakers Won't Work!

There's only one speaker on the bottom of the iPhone, the other opening is actually a microphone. Would that be what you are referring to or is it a different issue?

The iphone has only one speaker. The other is a mic.

If that one speaker is not working, there is known issue in which the headphone port has dust,etc in it. Try removing and inserting the headphones several times and it should work.

i also thought it was a speaker, but it was comfirmed that it was a mic
